We appreciate you booking The Farmyard. This is a general overview of our policies and restrictions so we can ensure all renters have an awesome experience. Remember our farm is also our home. It is private property and a working farm. Please be respectful of our livestock and property and do not damage any structures, equipment, Trees, crops, or wildflowers during your visit at the farmyard. ALSO PLEASE KEEP IN MIND, THE FARMYARD IS LOCATED IN A RURAL AREA WITH NATURAL WILDLIFE & CRITTERS (INCLUDING VENOMOUS SNAKES & SPIDERS). BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDING & WATCH WHERE YOU PUT YOUR HANDS & FEET.

Farmyard Policies:
-
A signed Release of Liability agreement is required at the time of booking and prior to entrance to the farm.
-
Do not trespass on our property during non-business hours. Only guests who have reserved a photography session with us will be allowed to enter the farm for photography.

All children must be supervised at all times.
-
Do NOT approach livestock! If livestock approaches you please leave the area and contact owners immediately to move them from the area.

Guests must request use of fire pit in advance.
-
​Pets must be approved prior to booking and must be on a leash at all times.
-
Music or other sound must not be audible beyond your reserved area.
-
The renter is responsible for moving any equipment or items for setup and cleanup..
-
The area you rent must be cleaned and vacated by the end of the rental period to respect our other guests time and efforts.

The Farmyard/Tiffany Scott Photography/XT RANCH/Timothy or Tiffany Scott and/or their agents assumes no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to any PERSON, equipment or belongings.

Reservation Policies:
-
Your rental time begins promptly at the designated starting time and ends promptly at the designated ending time.

We do encourage you to show up fifteen minutes prior to your shoot. However, the Farmyard may be occupied by another renter up until your start time. If this is the case, you will need to wait until your set reservation time to enter the farmyard.

Reservation time must include set up, break-down, and clean up.
-
It is the responsibility of the Renter and its vendors to set up, break-down, and clean up within the farmyard during their Reservation time.

we ask that you make sure to remain aware of other photographers and leave enough time at the end of your reservation to clean up. If you are late leaving the farmyard or do not leave enough time to clean up, YOU WILL BE chargeS you for an additional hour and/or a cleaning fee.

If you need additional time, please contact us before your rental period ends and we will let you know if we are able to accommodate your request. *All invoices must be paid the same day. If unpaid, you will not be allowed to book future rentals until the outstanding balance + a $50 late fee is settled.

Rescheduling/Cancelation Policies:​​

we do not offer refunds under any circumstances.

You can Reschedule or cancel your Farmyard reservation with no additional charge at any time 7 days PRIOR your reservation is set to begin by contacting howdy@thefarmyardtexas.com or (940)872-7366 or you can go to your original reservation and reschedule/cancel. Upon reschedule/cancelation, you will receive a credit of the dollar amount of your original reservation that can be applied towards a future rental with us. Your credit will expire in 90 days from the date of the original reservation.

If after the 7 days there is a $40 reschedule fee for hourly bookings and $125 fee for events.
-
A reservation made with a cancel credit cannot be changed or rescheduled. Reservations that are booked with cancel credit may be canceled, but will not be eligible to receive a new credit code.
-
no credit will be issued for last Minute/Same day cancelation.
-
True Emergencies will be evaluated on a case by case basis. Please reach out to us if this applies to you.

Restrictions
-
No vehicles will be allowed beyond our parking area. Any equipment or props brought to the field must be carried in and carried out.
-
No food or drinks are allowed in the Farmhouse.
-
cake smashes can only be done in specified areas. Please check with us prior to planning a cake smash at The farmyard.
-
Fireworks (including sparklers) are prohibited.
-
No Glitter, confetti, balloons with confetti, or anything that will leave even the smallest remnants. ​
-
do not release balloons - they can be deadly to livestock.
-
Smoking or illicit Drugs are strictly prohibited on premises (including parking area).
-
Picking the flowers is forbidden unless permission has been given in advance for you to use as props in your photos.
-
Renter may not sublease the Texas Farmyard to any third party.
-
Proper attire must always be worn during all photo shoots. We DO not accommodate any nude or partially nude photography. This includes boudoir photography sessions or any other risqué attire. If you are unsure, please don't hesitate to reach out and ask!
We reserve the right to oversee all photography sessions and will be available to answer questions as we are able. We also will require your immediate departure from the farmYARD without refund if any of THE FARMYARD policies & restrictions are violated.​​

Damage and Cleaning
You are responsible for any damage to any property on The Farmyard/XT Ranch. The farm and all furnishings and equipment therein must be left clean and in good condition, normal wear and tear is understandable. If your rental area on the farm is not in the same condition after rented, Renter agrees to pay, as applicable (i) a minimum of a $100 cleaning fee (based on the amount of time required to clean the area at a rate of $100 per hour); and (ii) the cost to repair and/OR replace any damage done to the farm and the furnishings and equipment therein caused by the RENTER.
